Abstract

A faunistis survey was conducted to collect and identify the predatory phytoseiid mites associated with eriophyid mites in Guilan province, Iran, during 2012-2013. In this study 21 species of phytoseiid mites from three subfamilies and nine genera were collected and identified. Thirteen phytoseiid species were recorded in association with eriophyoid mites for the first time in Iran. These species are marked with an asterisk (*). The list of identified species base on their subfamilies is as follow. A key is also provided for identification of phytoseiid mites associated with eriophyid mites in Guilan province.
