The diagnostic morphological traits and geographical distribution of the newly recorded species are detailed. Additionally, an identification key for the three recognized species of this genus in Iran is included. در این مطالعه، گونه ­ی <em>Bregmatothrips</em><strong><em> </em></strong><em>dimorphus</em><strong><em> </em></strong>(Priesner, 1919) که از روی علف هرز قیاق (<em>Sorghum halepense</em>) در تنگ حمام شهرستان چوار (استان ایلام) جمع­آوری شده است، برای اولین بار از ایران گزارش می­ شود. ویژگی­ های ریخت‌شناسی و دامنه انتشار جغرافیایی گزارش جدید به همراه کلید شناسایی سه گونه­ شناخته‌شده از جنس<em> Bregmatothrips</em>  در ایران ارائه می ­شود. https://iprj.guilan.ac.ir/article_9753_553b06fc2a7e0e3a7b2376f6b2c188e7.pdf
