This insect was identified as belonging to the family Coreidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera). After thorough examination and comparison with specimens from the insect collection at the Natural History Museum of the University of Guilan, it was confirmed to be <em>Coreus marginatus marginatus</em> (Linnaeus, 1758). The insects fed gregariously on ripe blackberry fruits, resulting in crushing and maceration, which ultimately led to the desiccation of the fruit. This is the first documented instance of damage caused by this species on thornless blackberry in Iran.<br /><br /> در مرداد ماه 1404 خسارت یک گونه سن روی تمشک سیاه تجاری بدون خار در شهرستان رشت، استان گیلان مشاهده شد. این گونه به سن­ های خانواده Coreidae (Hemiptera: Heteroptera) تعلق داشته و پس از بررسی و مقایسه با نمونه ­های موجود در کلکسیون حشرات موزه تاریخ طبیعی دانشگاه گیلان به نام <em>Coreus marginatus marginatus</em> (Linnaeus, 1758) شناسایی شد. این حشره به صورت دسته­ جمعی از میوه ­های تمشک سیاه رسیده تغذیه کرده به نحوی که میوه ها حالتی لهیده یافته و در نهایت سبب خشکیدگی آن می­ شوند. این اولین گزارش از خسارت ناشی از سن ذکر شده در تمشک سیاه بدون خار در ایران می­ باشد.<br />  https://iprj.guilan.ac.ir/article_9599_1825a758bc97c56658c85ee4ee71db11.pdf
