Depending on the type of the egg laying of female insects on the stamina located in the crown of flowers and fruits, the best way to reduce pest damage is to prevent fruit contamination. For this purpose, during a four-year study (2016-2020) in Shahreza county, the efficiency of covering pomegranate fruits crown with latex to reduce the damage of carob moth was investigated. The results showed that in all four years of study, latex coating of fruits significantly reduced the infestation of <em>E. ceratoniae</em> compared to the control. So that in 2016, a 98% reduction in the damage of this pest was observed in latex injection in fruits crown with dry stamens. In this research, the mean of weight and cracking percentage of pomegranate fruits treated with latex were not significantly different from the control. Finally, latex as a safe substance is recommended in fruit crown coating method for managing  pomegranate carob moth. یکی از<em> </em>مهم‌ترین آفات میوه انار در ایران، شب‌پره کرم گلوگاه انار <em>Ectomyelois</em> <em>ceratoniae</em> (Zeller) (Lep.: Pyralidae) است. با توجه به نحوه آلودگی از طریق تخم‌گذاری روی پرچم‌های واقع در تاج گل و میوه، بهترین روش در کاهش خسارت آفت، جلوگیری از آلوده‌شدن میوه می‌باشد. بدین‌منظور، در طی پژوهش چهار ساله (1396-1399) در شهرستان شهرضا، کارایی پوشش‌گذاری تاج میوه انار با ماده لاتکس در کاهش خسارت آفت مذکور، مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. نتایج نشان داد که در هر چهار سال مورد بررسی، پوشش‌گذاری میوه‌ها با لاتکس باعث کاهش معنی‌دار آلودگی کرم گلوگاه روی میوه‌ها در مقایسه با شاهد شده است؛ به طوری­که در سال 1396 کاهش 98 درصدی خسارت این آفت در تیمار تزریق لاتکس در تاج میوه با پرچم خشک مشاهده شد. در این پژوهش، میانگین وزن و درصد ترکیدگی میوه‌های تیمار شده با لاتکس نسبت به شاهد تفاوت معنی‌دار نداشتند. در مجموع، لاتکس به عنوان یک ماده بی‌خطر در روش پوشش‌گذاری تاج میوه به­منظور کنترل آفت کرم گلوگاه انار توصیه می‌شود. https://iprj.guilan.ac.ir/article_5256_d96a70acd4cb0e42c3fabdbbf31c1eb2.pdf
