Among them, both genus and species of <em>Chaetanaphothrips orchidii </em>(Moulton, 1907) were recorded from Iran for the first time. Specimens were collected on aconite (Ranunculaceae). طی یک بررسی فونستیک در سال 1393 در رابطه با گل­ ها و گیاهان زینتی محلات در شهرستان اراک (استان مرکزی)، گونه­ های مختلفی از تریپس جمع ­آوری شد. در بین تریپس های جمع ­آوری شده، جنس و گونه ­ی (<em>Chaetanaphothrips orchidii </em>(Moulton, 1907 برای اولین بار از ایران گزارش می­ شود. نمونه­ های این گونه، روی گل­ تاج­ الملوک (خانواده ­ی Ranunculaceae) جمع ­آوری شدند.
